As we all know, Apple’s global operations must comply with local laws, which means the services it provides vary by region, and the App Store’s rules differ accordingly. This is why some apps are available in one region but not in another.
If you encounter the message “‘Telegram Messenger’ is no longer available. The developer has removed this app from the App Store” while updating Telegram, it likely means that the version currently installed on your phone was downloaded using an Apple ID from a restricted region.
Fortunately, this issue is easy to fix:
- Uninstall the current version of Telegram.
- Log out of your current Apple ID and log in with an Apple ID from a different region, such as the US.
- Reinstall Telegram, and the issue should be resolved.
Your Telegram messages will automatically sync after reinstallation, so you won’t lose any of your content.
